Centre for safe living Appingedam
Centrum Voor Veilig Wonen (Center for Safe Living) came into being in order to deal with damage reports in the earthquake area in the province of Groningen. Previously, this was one of the tasks entrusted to NAM (Dutch Oil Company). As of 2015, Centrum Veilig Wonen has taken over the damage reports management. Many of the staff members are themselves from Groningen. They go to residents of the area to find an appropriate solution and guide them through the world of rules, procedures, forms, surveys and the like. Wellbeing and safety are at the forefront here. The aim is to make a difference in the lives of people in Groningen.
We were commissioned by Borgtechniek from Winschoten to supply the office for the Centrum Veilig Wonen at the Fivelpoort business park in Appingedam, for Groot Vroomshoop Bouwsystemen and Rottinghuis’ Aannemingsbedrijf bv.
By using a flexible and modular construction system from De Groot Vroomshoop Bouwsystemen B.V., this office was completed in record time. The design came into being in collaboration with Klein Architecten. The complete online control installation was achieved on commission from Borgtechniek b.v.
